My Supplement & Herb Guide for Combatting PMS

Let’s have a simplified chat about liver health + hormones 🙌🏼

NEWS FLASH: you cannot tackle your hormonal imbalance (aka, period problems) without addressing your gut health!

Combining these 2 areas of health will create the most empowered ripple effect in your long-term health journey as a powerful woman. It’s time to let go of the toxic belief that suffering emotionally, physically, & with our power as a woman is “normal”.

We have control over this! Here are 4 things you can start doing TODAY that will begin the positive ripple effect:

👉🏼  Tracking ovulation & your period for information on our cycle so we can work WITH our bodies is essential.

Every woman’s cycle is incredibly unique. Tracking your cycle allows you to understand your body + become in-tune with your cyclical nature & hormones.

👉🏼 Start managing stress through building awareness of our environments, what we are putting in and on our bodies, & listening to our deepest desires.

(Excess caffeine, alcohol, & processed foods are the top 3 common factors when working with PMS symptoms & combating leaky gut.)

👉🏼 Prioritizing rest & sleep.

When your body is stressed and/or sleep deprived, it can disrupt your immune system, digestive system, & reproductive system while leaving you more vulnerable to anxiety!

👉🏼 Opt for gut healing foods like bone broth, prebiotics (onions & garlic), + probiotics (sauerkraut & kefir).

First things first: your liver is responsible for regulating hormones, as well as removing any excess hormones or toxins from your body.

If your liver cannot do its job, this is where we start to feel like an emotional rollercoaster, & physically out of balance. 🎢

Supporting your liver can look like avoiding alcohol and over-the-counter pain meds, eating more liver-loving foods like clean protein, cruciferous veggies, beets, and doing castor oil packs or coffee enemas.

It can also look like taking hepatic herbs that work with your liver.

Here are 3 herbs to support your liver:

🌿 MILK THISTLE

Milk thistle is one of my favorite herbs to support liver health.

These seeds are full of a supercharged antioxidant and anti-inflammatory ingredient called silymarin. This is essential to improving liver health, reducing inflammation, promoting cell repair, and gentle detoxification.

🌿DANDELION ROOT + LEAF

This is known to reduce stress on the liver + support its ability to produce bile. 🙌🏼

(Bonus: dandelion root + leaf can help your liver filter potentially harmful chemicals out of your food!)

🌿 BURDOCK ROOT

Burdock is heavily known for blood purifying properties, as well as gentle liver function + elimination. It pairs wonderfully with dandelion root!

⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣We are letting go of the idea that your cycle is something to be suffered through and that painful cramps, hormonal acne, and wild mood swings are “normal”.

We are getting to the root of our hormones, evaluating the sustainability of our lifestyle, + truly listening to our bodies desires and needs.

If you are ready to take your sovereign power back & ready to take control *without* overwhelm, I am opening the doors to PMS Codes, which is SO much more than just learning about our PMS symptoms + what your cycle entails.
