Does the pill *really* regulate your periods and manage your PMS?

The pill does not regulate periods or manage PMS.

Have you ever been prescribed birth control to:

1️⃣ Regulate your cycle duration/ length

2️⃣ Manage PMS

3️⃣ Reduce heaviness of flow

Why is this constantly being prescribed to women as a cure- all solution without accurately informing us of what it actually does to our bodies + the side effects?

Also… 🤪 birth control does not regulate your period.

(It actually shuts down the whole menstrual + ovulation cycle…)

Hormonal contraceptives do not “fix” your period problems.

They only temporarily cover them up.

It is the band aid solution. And a bad one at that!

👉🏼 Hormonal birth control will STOP you from ovulating.

But why is this a big deal? 👇🏼

Ovulation isn’t just natural, it is NECESSARY for women's overall + long-term health.

When prescribed birth control, were you told:

🥶 It reduces active thyroid hormone + decreases metabolism, leading to weight gain and future thyroid problems.

🥶 Changes your gut microbiome & causes leaky gut...

🥶 MAJORLY messes with your libido 😶🤭

🥶 Increases your risk for depression

🥶 Not to menton blood clots, strokes, heart attack risks, and increased breast cancer…

Ovulation isn’t just natural, it is NECESSARY for women's overall + long-term health.

Benefits of ovulation:

✨ GETTING IN THE RHYTHM OF YOUR CYCLE.

Every woman’s cycle is incredibly unique. Tracking ovulation allows you to understand your body + become in-tune with your cyclical nature & hormones. 🙌🏼

✨ Regular ovulation prevents osteoporosis, dementia, heart disease, & breast cancer.

✨ Ovulation = Progesterone, the “netflix and chill” hormone that eases anxiety, supports your memory, & helps you sleep better

✨ When we regularly ovulate, we have increased immunity, reduced inflammation, and are even able to gain more muscle!

✨ And lastly, understanding when (and if) you are fertile.

Whether you are actively trying to conceive OR actively avoiding pregnancy,

utilizing this information is incredibly beneficial for hormone health, combatting PMS, & supporting your overall health.

Did you know ovulation was more than just about conception?

How to come off hormonal birth control + limit side effects! 👇🏼

First, we need to release the patriarchal belief that you need to be on The Pill, IUD, or other meds to keep your hormones in check and get/not get pregnant.

Whether you are getting ready to try for a baby, are just curious what it would be like to be off birth control and in tune with your natural cycle, or are just ready to take your sovereign power back…

It doesn’t have to be a rollercoaster journey to reclaim your body, begin respecting your womb space, & awakening your divine feminine power. 🎢

As we know, Post Birth Control Syndrome can cause symptoms, such as:

⚡️ loss of menstruation
⚡️ heavy + excruciating periods
⚡️ cystic acne + rosacea
⚡️ blood sugar dysregulation
⚡️ inflammatory + leaky gut issues
⚡️ migraines + headaches
⚡️ hair loss
⚡️ depression + anxiety
⚡️fatigue, brain fog, insomnia
⚡️ loss of sex drive/ libido ⁣⁣⁣just to name a few!

⁣⁣⁣Let go of the idea that your cycle is something to be suffered through and that painful cramps, hormonal acne, and wild mood swings are “normal”.

Your symptoms are NOT the real problem. You don’t NEED the pill.

Are you ready to feel deeply attuned to your body/womb & cultivate a wholly healed and more receptive relationship with her built upon deep listening, intuition, & trust in her ancestral wisdom?
