My Biggest Transformation

Someone asked me recently what my biggest transformation was.

I had to really think about it, not because I hadn’t experienced transformation swell through me & my life, but because ideally we evolve through a cyclical current of waves, one after the other, that bring metamorphosis in stages & sequence; it’s hard to pull one out & separate one.

Better to ask what a transformational theme in my life has been and that one’s is far easier to name.

The shift from the disempowered mentality that life was happening TO ME versus FOR & THROUGH ME, was a biggie with many layers.

From an abstract idea, to something I realized only in peak experiences on psychedelics, to a hypothesis that had to be put to the test in so many different ways. Sometimes I failed to trust and then I learned the hard way. And sometimes I flew.

Even our worse ailments, physical & emotional, can be expressions of this teaching, that all of life’s challenges can be blessings in disguise should we be curious enough about them & be willing to face them head on. These are the fruitful benefits of adversity.

My journey from hormonal & suffering young girl with a diagnosis but no clarity as to what caused it or what to do next, to a hormone expert who never gave up & found her own solution & now helps hundreds of women in the same position, was just another elaboration on this theme: transformation from victimhood to sovereign & empowered chooser of her own destiny.

And look how much more you have to give to others when you really choose yourself & your own healing first.

Where are you letting life beat you down rather than offering you a gift you have yet to unwrap?

If you’ve been accepting suffering, whether it’s from PMS or other womb woes, rather than seeking the opportunity within the crisis, then get at me.

Transformation awaits…
